Workout of the Day
Strength- Barbell Curl and Press 4 X 8 - Yes, we are doing curls, gotta keep those beverage drinking muscles functional!
WOD- 3 Rounds for Time
30 Shoulder to Overhead (115/75)
20 Box Jumps (24/20) with air squat on top of box
10 Burpee Pullups (Scale use box to step up and jump/pull your chin over bar, no bands)
Strength- Back Squat 8/6/4/2/20
WOD- 150 KB Swings (70/40)
Each Time you rest you must do the following
1st Drop- 2 Burpees
2nd Drop- 4 Burpees
3rd Drop- 6 Burpees
Strength- Clean and Jerk Max
WOD- Odds/Evens 20 minutes
Odds- 8 Parallett Pushups
8 Double Jumps Over Paralletts (Over both and Back 4 times)
Evens- 10 WBS (20/14)
10 Horizontal Chest to Bars
Maxout CrossFit is now officially the home of the 6th fittest male athlete in our region Richard Bohlken. Richard stood side by side some of the best in the world and just missed punching his ticket to the Games. Defeating past games qualifiers in many events Rich proved that he is in the top 1% worldwide and can hang with the best out there. We are proud to be a part of his training and expect even bigger things from him in the future.
As of Saturday, March 2nd, our new home will be located at 3714 CR 7500. Basically just drive straight out south Indiana and take a right at 147th(CR 7500). The steel building complex will be on your right about 3/4 mile from Indiana. We now have tons of room and will not be capping the classes at 12 anymore! Be sure to come out on Saturday, March 2nd at 11am for our very first WOD in the new place and let us feed you afterwords! No Paleo, don't worry!
