What is the key to really making it work for you? Unfortunately there is no cookie cutter program for everyone, but I can give you a baseline template and food choices to start from until you learn your body and what gives you the best response. Being that we are a crossFit affiliate gym I must mention that the official diet recommended by CrossFit is a Paleo or Zone Diet. There are countless books on these eating methods and they are both fantastic diets that will definitely work in the area of weight loss. These diets are based on the principles of eating natural foods in their most organic state and avoiding most of the starchy carbohydrates that the FDA so strongly encourages you to make a staple in your everyday diet. While this method is true, and I strongly incorporate these principles, I want to show you how to incorporate the right kind of carbs at the right times to not only lose weight, but get stronger and gain muscle! Coming from a bodybuilding background I know how to do this, naturally. So what I want you to do here is find the category on the right that best describes you and your goals and start plugging in foods based on the protein, carbohydrate, and fat choices given to you on the left tabs of this page.
